Job summary

Northwestern Mutual is seeking an Assistant Financial Representative in Philadelphia for a part-time hybrid role combining in-office and remote work. You will assist financial representatives with onboarding, gathering client data, and preparing planning materials to support client goals.

In this position, you will help maintain client records, schedule meetings, and handle follow-up communications while learning about insurance and investment products under licensed supervision.

Qualifications

• Foundational skills in finance and financial planning to support analysis of client needs and preparation of planning materials.
• Knowledge of Insurance products as part of comprehensive financial strategies.
• Familiarity with Retirement planning concepts and tools for long-term client projections.
• Understanding Investments and wealth management to support advisors in client discussions.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with financial data and CRM.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and adapt to regulatory requirements.
• Coursework or degree in finance, business, economics; pursuing licenses/desig­nations is a plus.
