State of Michigan, through the Michigan Department of Corrections, is seeking a Parole/Probation Officer to conduct background investigations, supervise offenders, and enforce Court-ordered probation or parole. You will train in office as needed and may work in a hybrid arrangement up to 50% of the pay period.

Responsibilities include managing diverse offender caseloads, including sex offenders and those on electronic monitoring, and collaborating with law enforcement where required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, correctional administration, criminology, psychology, social work, counseling and guidance, or related fields.

• Prepare background reports on offenders for sentencing determinations.
