Atlanta Public Schools is seeking a self-motivated Parent Liaison for Douglass High School, an hourly role focused on strengthening home–school-community relationships both in person and online.

The position reports to the School Principal and requires a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), 2 years of district/community experience, and strong communication. It supports Title I activities, family engagement and policy compliance while maintaining safety protocols.

Qualifikationen

• Clearance certificate required.
• 2 years of school district or community experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Establish communication among school, community and home in person or virtually.
• Assist parents with understanding Title I Part A and related documents.
• Coordinate academic workshops and volunteer programs for parents.
• Develop and maintain a Parent Resource Center within the school.
• Communicate Title I updates via newsletters and district portals.
• Ensure sanitation and safety standards are upheld in the school environment.
• Serve as liaison between the school and Title I Office – Family Engagement Specialist.
