Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 7+ years of hands-on experience in automotive paint shop operations or related roles.
• Experience driving QMS compliance, 8D root-cause analysis, and Lean manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of paint shop materials, chemicals, and automated spray booth equipment.
• Proficient with OEM paint process guidelines and ISO compliance.

Aufgaben

• Analyze warranty and quality data to identify defects and costs to reduce warranty issues.
• Support ISO and quality audits by ensuring processes and records meet required standards and drive corrective actions.
• Lead Variation Reduction Team activities to identify process variation and implement corrective actions.
• Govern the Uniform Paint Process by monitoring performance and reducing defects.
• Develop and maintain PCPs defining controls, inspection requirements, and quality standards.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations to solve issues and prevent defects.
