Job summary

Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists (PNS) in Orange, CA, is seeking an outpatient psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our community-focused team. The role involves comprehensive psychiatric care, evaluations, and medication management with an emphasis on teamwork and evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Psychiatry Residency Program.
• Current and valid California medical license, NPI, and DEA registration.
• No disciplinary action or license restriction.
• Board Certification (preferred) / Board Eligible.
• At least 2 years of independent psychiatric experience (preferred).
• Subspecialization: Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry/Addiction Medicine, Clinical Research, or Interventional Psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and holistic treatments for patients in-person and via telehealth.
• Supervise and collaborate with interdisciplinary providers (NPs, PAs, therapists) with protected time.
• Participate in interventional psychiatry services and clinical research pipelines.
• Provide career leadership and support to the clinical team in operations.
• Participate in crisis intervention and emergency care as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory standards.
