Job Description
Position Summary: The Operations and Planning Manager in Texarkana, TX is responsible for overseeing strategic planning and execution on key activities within the partnership and between agilon health. This individual provides effective leadership and participates in the implementation of business strategies and initiatives, aligning priorities to ensure fulfillment of company and business goals and objectives.
Hybrid: 1x week in office in Longview
Essential Job Functions:
- Function in a highly matrixed, fast-paced, and team-based environment.
- Support the infrastructure of the partnership with a focus on organizational effectiveness and continued integration between agilon health and physician partners to drive results.
- Develop processes and lead initiatives to improve quality of care, efficiency, and growth in the market.
- Participate as part of the market leadership team to drive initiatives with provider partners, payers, and the enterprise that support the partnership.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to develop innovative care models aimed at creating a world-class patient experience and quality of care.
- Support prioritization, metric development/tracking, and ROI analysis for projects.
- Drive high-quality results by supporting organizational needs.
- Leverage technology to improve processes, operational efficiency, and clinical outcomes.
- Work collaboratively to define and support the agilon culture within the market and across the company.
- Establish performance objectives, monitor performance, and evaluate progress toward goals.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum Experience:
- 4+ years’ experience leading projects or initiatives.
- Proven track record of innovative thinking across patient care continuum.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and devise solutions independently, while functioning effectively in team environments.
- Skills in developing, implementing, and executing project plans, and integrating complex operations.
- Passion for the business, collaborative approach, and positive leadership.
- Outcome-focused with cultural adherence.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to create clear, convincing presentations.
- Active network of internal and external relationships.
- Respect for confidentiality and sensitivity of information.

Education/Licensure:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
