Job summary

The Goddard School of Peoria is seeking an Office Assistant/Resource Teacher to support both classroom and office operations. The role runs 9:00 am–6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with duties spanning administrative tasks and classroom activities for children from infant to pre-K.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in early education and an Associate in ECE or CDA. This position emphasizes strong organizational and interpersonal skills and offers growth opportunities within a welcoming

Qualifications

Minimum Associates in ECE or CDA required.
At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood.
Strong knowledge of child development and classroom management.
Pass state background checks and meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

Administrative Support: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the School.
Curriculum and Program Development: Assist in the implementation of Wonder of Learning program to spark curiosity and growth.
Family and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with families.
Health and Safety: Support licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment.
