Job summary

Anaplan in New York City is seeking a Senior GRC Engineer to strengthen governance, risk and compliance across its AI-infused platform. You will translate complex controls into practical engineering work, support audits, and enable continuous monitoring and automation.

The role blends architecture discussions with hands-on implementation and collaboration with risk management. As a Senior GRC Engineer, you will leverage cross-framework mappings, engage with engineering teams and customers, and

Qualifications

6+ years in security engineering, GRC, DevSecOps or a closely related role.
Hands-on exposure to compliance/regulatory frameworks.
Comfortable writing scripts or light code for automation.
Knowledge of ISO 27001 families, SOC 1/2, Cyber Essentials, or similar.
Experience using a cross-framework control mapping/crosswalk.
Ability to read/build system/data-flow diagrams and work with GRC platforms.

Responsibilities

Act as a technical GRC partner to engineering and non-technical teams.
Translate compliance and risk requirements into actionable design.
Support customer-facing security/compliance conversations with technical context.
Build processes, scripts, workflows, and tooling to embed controls daily.
Create knowledge resources and diagrams to explain control rationales.
Partner with Risk Management to embed risk identification and monitoring.
