Job summary

Revv is seeking a senior/staff-level Data Engineer in NYC to lead cross-cloud data strategies. You will unify AirPro and Revv data, build robust dbt models, and partner with analytics, finance, and product leadership to deliver trusted data for revenue and operational metrics.

You will own data governance, ensure quality, and scope data products that empower analytics teams using Power BI and Hex, in a hybrid NYC environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in data engineering with platform-level ownership.
• Hands-on production experience with Snowflake and dbt.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Familiarity with Azure data ecosystem (SQL Server, Data Factory, Synapse).
• Ability to translate business questions into data requirements and back.
• Experience at a SaaS or software company.

Responsibilities

• Map data needs across engineering, product, finance, sales, and operations; design a scalable data platform for AWS/Azure.
• Integrate AirPro and Revv data in a unified data lake; evaluate Azure Synapse feasibility.
• Build clean, tested dbt models consumed by Power BI/Hex.
• Collaborate with finance and sales to align Salesforce and ERP data for consistent metrics.
• Define data governance, quality, and ownership including SOC 2 considerations.
• Champion data as a strategic asset and enable product experiences.
