TheGuarantors in New York City is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Data Science Team. This cross-functional role turns data into actionable insights, collaborating with Data, Risk, Operations, and GTM to inform strategic decisions.

We value 2+ years in analytics, a quantitative degree, and strong SQL/Python skills. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite in NYC) with a base salary of $120,000–$140,000 plus generous benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a data analytics or related role.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for analysis.
• Degree in quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous business questions into clear, structured analyses.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Run ad-hoc analyses and experiments to evaluate hypotheses for business challenges.
• Write and optimize SQL queries against Snowflake, and use Python/dbt to clean, transform, and model data.
• Partner with Data Scientists to analyze and monitor models and conduct deeper analyses.
• Support recurring model monitoring and established Data Science processes.
• Communicate findings through data storytelling, visuals, and presentations.
