Confidential Employer in New York seeks a talented Mid-Level Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join our New York team. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your transactional expertise while working on complex, high‑impact real estate matters.

You will represent sophisticated clients, draft and negotiate key agreements, and advise on financing, joint ventures, and fund formation. This role offers a hybrid schedule with Friday remote flexibility and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 3+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience at a law firm.
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, fund formation, or leasing.
• Strong transactional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively with attorneys and clients.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment.
• Experience at a reputable commercial law firm preferred.
• Strong academic credentials preferred.

Responsabilités

• Represent sophisticated clients in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and investment transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, joint venture agreements, and other commercial real estate contracts.
• Advise on real estate financing, private equity investments, and fund formation matters.
• Support commercial leasing transactions and complex real estate investment structures.
• Conduct due diligence, evaluate transaction risks, and coordinate key aspects of transaction closings.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys, investors, lenders, and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Manage meaningful transactional responsibilities while continuing to strengthen your legal expertise.
• Contribute to a collaborative team handling sophisticated real estate transactions across diverse industries.
