Motion Recruitment is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in New York City to design, build, and optimize scalable, secure cloud platforms powering enterprise AI workloads. The role emphasizes collaboration with product and engineering teams to align infrastructure with evolving business goals.

You will work in a primarily onsite environment (Manhattan) with some remote Fridays, focusing on reliability, performance, and cost optimization while delivering secure, compliant cloud solutions for

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related roles
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, RDS, IAM, SSM)
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC)
• Expertise building and managing CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD)
• Experience designing infrastructure-as-code using tools like AWS CDK or CloudFormation
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices (especially in regulated industries)
• Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering teams and align infrastructure with product goals
• Proven problem‑solving skills with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and cost optimization

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable cloud infra for AI workloads
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable delivery
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions
• Monitor system performance, logging, and observability improvements
