Job summary

Madhive in New York City is hiring an AI Code Engineering Lead to accelerate software delivery with AI-native tooling. You will build and scale an agentic coding platform and work directly with engineering teams to ship faster.

This is a hands-on role with 10+ years in a staff-engineer capacity, and a track record delivering production code plus tooling that others can reuse. Hybrid work in the Financial District with a compensation range of $200,000–$225,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience at a staff-engineer level at a strong company.
• Proven ability to drive engineering practices to org-wide scale.
• Experience with agentic coding tools across the SDLC.
• Experience building or running an eval harness.
• Grit in ambiguous problems and business-focused thinking.

Responsibilities

• Own AI-native engineering practice and reusable building blocks.
• Manage a portfolio of velocity V1s and integrate into CTO org.
• Facilitate smooth handoffs to engineering with clear ownership.
• Codify patterns into golden path playbooks and templates.
