Job summary

Cipriani & Werner P.C. in Iselin, NJ invites a NY/NJ Associate with 2–4 years of NY General Liability litigation to join our growing team in a hybrid role. The candidate should hold a JD from an ABA-approved school and maintain an active NY license; NJ bar is preferred.

The position involves evaluating files, client communications, discovery production, and drafting legal memoranda, motions, and appeals. ProLaw and MS Office proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in New York; admission to the New Jersey Bar is preferred.
• 2–4 years of NY General Liability litigation experience required; NJ General Liability experience preferred.
• Experience in NY/NJ commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability preferred; trial experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.
