Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles seeks experienced nurse practitioners or physician assistants to provide primary and specialty care. You will perform physical exams, develop diagnoses, and manage treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions. You will coordinate referrals and educate patients while documenting care accurately.

Hybrid schedule includes 10-hour shifts with two Saturdays per month. Bilingual English/Spanish Level II is required; ACLS/PALS and DEA considerations apply where

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited RN and NP Program OR graduate of an accredited PA program.
• Masters Degree in Nursing (effective 1/1/03 for those not previously grandfathered in by CMS).
• Current DEA Registration Number, if applicable; ACLS, PALS if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Collect subjective data (history) and objective data (physical exam).
• Develop an assessment (diagnosis) and management plan.
• Facilitate referrals to appropriate facilities and resources within the community.
• Order pharmacologic interventions and develop an educational plan.
• Plan for appropriate follow-up care and ensure patient privacy and compliance with policies.
