Job summary

Kheir Clinic in Los Angeles seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive medical care for adults and children, including health histories, exams, and lab follow-ups. You will diagnose, treat, and manage patient care with supervision from a physician and through EHR documentation.

The position requires prescribing under supervision, patient education, and participation in outreach events to serve underserved communities. Bilingual English/Korean preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP program.
• Drug Enforcement Administration license.
• State of California NP license.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Knowledge of nursing process and medical model.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examinations on adults and children.
• Performs Pap smears, clinical breast examinations, and other medical services as needed.
• Gathers complete medical history and performs a physical exam on each client.
• Writes prescriptions as deemed appropriate by supervising physician.
• Reviews results of lab tests and imaging and arranges follow-up.
• Coordinates responses to inquiries from pharmacies regarding prescriptions and refills.
• Treats walk-in patients and supports clinic operations.
• Attends Practice Management Meetings and mentors staff.
