OHSU’s Nuclear Medicine/CT Technologist role provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures across Portland and Beaverton. The position requires ARRT(N) or NMTCB registration, CPR at hire, and the ability to work across imaging modalities including planar, SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT.

The incumbent will support physicians in invasive procedures, ensure high-quality imaging, and participate in ongoing research protocols.

Qualifications

  • Must be ARRT(N) or NMTCB registered; CPR card required.
  • BLS certificate within 30 days of hire or prior to independent practice.

Responsabilités

  • Performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures including imaging of bone, liver, kidney, brain, infection, and tumor localization; prepares isotopes for patient administration.
  • Utilizes Planar, SPECT, SPECT/CT and PET/CT to optimize images for high-quality results with patient comfort.
  • Assists physicians in invasive procedures and quality imaging applications; documents findings for Radiologist review.
  • Evaluates anatomy and artifacts and communicates significant findings; participates in research protocols under supervision.
