St. Croix Health is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our team in a split role between hospital-based care and our Clinic/Quick Care outpatient setting.

Qualifikationen

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA).
• Valid licensure and certification as an Advanced Practice Practitioner.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting.
• Hospitalist experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• EHR knowledge and utilization experience.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical standards.

Aufgaben

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and institutional regulations.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
• Document patient encounters accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with medical advancements and maintain licensure and certification.
