Job summary

The Sir Peter Mansfield Imaging Centre at the University of Nottingham invites applications for a Research Assistant in Mental Health and Clinical Neurosciences. You will join a team developing harmonisation strategies for MRI brain data using ON-Harmony to align smaller disease cohorts to UK Biobank scanners.

Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field and programming skills in Python, C++, or MATLAB, with experience in MR image processing and statistics.

Qualifications

• Successful applicants will hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant domain.
• Skills in computer programming (Python, C++ or Matlab) and scientific computing are essential.
• Experience in MR image processing and statistical analysis would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop methods for harmonising MRI data using ON-Harmony with UK Biobank cohorts.
• Collaborate within the computational neuroimaging group and with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Contribute to multi-modal MRI processing and data analysis efforts.
