Job summary

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking an Assistant Research Scientist to coordinate neurobiologic/clinical studies with substantial patient contact. This is a 100% FTE role with a hybrid work arrangement, including remote and in-person duties.

The position focuses on tracking participants through all study procedures and maintaining accurate charts and regulatory documents, with responsibilities spanning IRB communications and training records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of professional research experience in an appropriate field or 30 graduate hours leading to an advanced degree may substitute for the required experience.
• Master's degree in a science or psychology-related field with at least 1 year of research experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating neurobiologic/clinical studies and maintaining regulatory documents is valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate neurobiologic/clinical studies including patient contact and some remote work.
• Track research participants through all procedures; maintain detailed charts and regulatory documents.
• Prepare and update slides for research team meetings; record trainings and outcomes.
• Screen subjects for eligibility and document results for team review.
