Job summary

Qualifications

• DoD/Gov program experience preferred; DISA experience a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong routing protocols and IP network design (IPSEC, BGP, MPLS/RSVP, OSPF, IS-IS).
• Unified communications experience with Cisco voice gateways and SIP trunking.
• Experience with Type 1 HAIPE encryption devices and secure tokens.
• Laboratory testing with Wireshark, Kiwi-Syslog, SNMP/Traps.
• MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, implement and maintain Gateway engineering solutions.
• Design engineering enhancements and provide documentation for CCB.
• Provide technical expertise in design review, lab testing and deployment of DoD networks.
• Support mission partners to satisfy interoperability requirements.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, voice gateways, UC managers.
• Apply system patches and updates for performance, availability, and security.
• Develop test plans, reports, and configuration guides.
• Deliver timely resolution and document troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform incident response tasks and services restoration.
• Review security requirements for NIPRNET and propose solutions.
• Provide on-call Tier III support and daily supervision to staff.
