Job summary

BRMi seeks a Network Engineer to design, implement, and support NIH Hosting and Storage Services on-premise cloud and hybrid environments. You will collaborate with systems, cloud, cybersecurity, storage, and application teams to ensure secure, resilient, and high-performing network services for enterprise hosting operations.

The role requires a minimum of five years of experience, Cisco networking expertise, and the ability to work across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in IT/CS/Networking.
• Minimum of five years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Experience configuring Cisco routers, switches, and enterprise networking equipment.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure for NIH hosting services.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and security appliances.
• Monitor performance, availability, and capacity to ensure reliable operations.
