Job summary

Astrana Health is seeking a Network Development Specialist in Houston to support provider and vendor contracting activities, negotiating agreements, and ensuring accurate implementation as the network scales.

You will partner with internal teams to recruit providers, manage the contracting lifecycle, and maintain compliant contract records across markets, with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3–5 years of healthcare contracting, contract analysis, or provider relations.
• Familiarity with managed care environments and contract language.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management and compliance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Drive recruitment, onboarding, and contracting of providers and vendors in line with guidelines.
• Manage end-to-end contracting lifecycle from sourcing to renewal and maintenance.
• Coordinate contract implementation across regions and load documents with credentialing teams.
• Maintain contract records, track metrics, and support reporting and targeting efforts.
• Audit contracts against provider records to ensure accuracy and current status.
• Manage provider intake workflows to onboard providers into the network.
• Partner with business and market teams to support growth and relationship management.
• Ensure contracting activities comply with regulatory, payer, and internal policies.
