Job summary

Nelnet seeks a software developer to design enterprise-wide cross-functional solutions, collaborating with IT architects and business analysts in a hybrid role within 30 miles of Centennial, CO. Responsibilities include translating business needs into technical specs and providing post-implementation support.

A bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of software development experience are required. Strong skills in C#, REST services, .NET, SQL Server, and a solid understanding of SDLC and Agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and SDLC; Agile experience preferred.
• Experience with .NET technologies, C#, REST services, and SQL Server.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance and knowledge of NIST compliance desired.

Responsibilities

• Participate in solution design to satisfy diverse business needs.
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and create design docs.
• Adhere to best practices and security standards across development work.
• Provide post-implementation support, monitor performance, and debug code.
