Job summary

Vaco is seeking a .NET Software Engineer / SRE II for a Direct-Hire role in Arlington, TX 76014. This position blends software development with Site Reliability Engineering to improve reliability, automation, and scalability of enterprise financial platforms.

You will work across Azure cloud services, REST APIs, and automation tasks, partnering with software engineers, SREs, and QA to drive operational excellence. Hybrid onsite 2 days/week in a modern cloud-first environment.

Qualifications

• Strong .NET/C# development skills with enterprise APIs and REST services.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and scalable architectures.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and data integrity.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Bridge software development with Site Reliability Engineering to improve reliability and automation.
• Develop, enhance, and support internal engineering solutions for enterprise platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Implement automation to improve deployment, monitoring, and collaboration across teams.
• Support cloud-native development practices within the Microsoft ecosystem.
