Job summary

NTT DATA North America is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in Atlanta for a hybrid schedule (3 days in office). The role blends manual testing with advanced automation on .NET Framework/.NET Core platforms.

You will grow into Java-based testing while contributing to CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality across UI, API, and integration tests. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 4 years of manual and automation testing experience
• 3 years of .NET Framework/.NET Core applications
• 1 year of test automation using C# and modern frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, Selenium, Playwright)
• 2 years of API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman, RestSharp

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for high-quality software delivery.
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Validate functionality against business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to refine acceptance criteria and prevent defects early.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and fast feedback loops.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across multiple environments.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot defects, and ensure proper documentation and traceability.
• Contribute to test planning, test data management, and release validation activities.
• Continuously improve testing strategies, tools, and processes for better coverage and efficiency.
