Job summary

Stratford Solutions Inc. seeks an experienced .NET/Oracle/MS SQL Developer for a 12-month contract in New York. Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, 37.5 hours/week, pay rate $70–$80/hr. You will develop, configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise apps on the Microsoft stack.

The role requires collaboration with development, QA, and operations in an Agile/Scrum setting, plus strong diagnostic and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
• Experience developing and supporting web apps, APIs, and Windows services.
• Proficient in IIS configuration and administration.
• MS SQL Server and Oracle SQL development experience.
• Experience with Git/Git Bash and source control.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Strong SDLC and Agile/Scrum understanding.
• Experience using Jira or similar Agile tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, deploy, and maintain .NET web apps, APIs, and services.
• Work with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core; use IIS for hosting.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot across environments (dev/QA/prod).
• Manage IIS settings, SSL certificates, and deployment configurations.
• Develop queries and stored procedures in MS SQL Server; work with Oracle DB.
• Collaborate with teams using Jira for Agile workflows; participate in code reviews.
