Job summary

San Francisco Health Plan (SFHP) seeks an NCQA Program Manager to lead activities related to NCQA Accreditation, monitor plan performance against NCQA standards, and coordinate all NCQA‑related activities across the organization to sustain accreditation. The role involves frequent daily interface with SFHP departments, serving as the departmental contact for NCQA matters, and supporting a dynamic team.

This is a hybrid role based in Downtown San Francisco with a minimum onsite presence of 4 days

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in project management.
• Successful NCQA accreditation experience and ongoing improvements in NCQA settings.
• Experience analyzing studies related to NCQA guidance.
• Strong quality improvement background in managed care, NCQA, Medicaid, and government programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead NCQA accreditation processes and ongoing monitoring activities.
• Coordinate NCQA-related activities across SFHP departments.
• Manage timelines, inquiries, submissions, and responses to NCQA.
• Ensure annual interpretation of guidelines and updates to policies and reports.
• Collaborate with Compliance and NCQA consultants to maintain accreditation.
• Assist with budget related to NCQA expenses and invoicing.
• Lead projects implementing DHCS, CMS, and DMHC policies as needed.
