GBH Creative is seeking a highly creative Motion Designer/Editor to craft visuals for GBH's broadcast, digital, and marketing platforms. You will collaborate across teams to extend existing styles and bring bold storytelling to life.

The role requires a strong eye for typography, composition and pacing, plus comfort adapting to multiple brands and audiences. A portfolio that demonstrates versatility across motion, editing and design is essential.

Qualifications

• Portfolio or reel demonstrating motion design, storytelling and visual judgment.
• Strong typography, composition and color sense.
• Ability to understand and apply different visual styles across brands.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design and execute motion graphics, animation and edited video for broadcast, digital, social, promotional and marketing projects.
• Work within and build upon existing creative systems, adapting to different visual styles while maintaining established brands and design languages.
• Develop new creative approaches when needed, including style frames, storyboards and motion tests.
• Own projects from concept or existing creative through final delivery, working within established schedules, budgets and technical requirements.
• Design and animate graphics packages, show opens, promotional graphics and other branded content.
• Edit short-form video with a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, music, sound and motion graphics.
• Participate in video production as needed, including camera operation, lighting and directing depending on experience.
• Collaborate with creative leadership, producers, designers and clients; present work, respond to feedback and translate creative direction into effective revisions.
• Stay current with evolving creative tools, techniques and production workflows and share knowledge across the team.
