Onetrust Home Loans is recruiting a Mortgage Loan Officer for a full-time, hybrid role based in Central Florida. You will originate residential mortgage loans, guide borrowers through the application and approval process, and tailor loan solutions to each client’s financial needs and homeownership goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage, financial services, banking, or real estate preferred.
• Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license or ability to obtain and maintain required state licensing.
• Understanding of underwriting principles, including evaluation of credit, income, assets, collateral, and borrower risk.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending practices, products, and guidelines, including Conventional, FHA, VA, and other residential loan programs.

Responsabilités

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and relationship-building activities.
• Conduct borrower consultations to evaluate financing needs and recommend appropriate mortgage products.
• Guide borrowers through the loan process from application to closing, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Collect, review, and maintain required loan documentation to support loan eligibility and underwriting requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers by providing timely status updates, answering questions, and addressing concerns throughout the lending process.
• Collaborate with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to facilitate efficient loan origination and funding.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, investor guidelines, and all applicable federal and state lending regulations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners, including real estate agents, builders, financial professionals, and community organizations, to generate business opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of mortgage products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to effectively assist borrowers and support business growth.
• Achieve individual production goals while maintaining high standards of service, quality, and professionalism.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
