Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is hiring Mobile Inspectors to perform on‑site vehicle inspections across a regional territory, with a hybrid work model allowing remote work part of the week. The role supports dealer clients with accurate inspection data and strong client engagement.

Level 1–Senior roles offer clear pay ranges, performance incentives, and a path to contribute to Manheim’s mobile inspection services while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred.
• 0–1 years automotive‑related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document findings in inspection systems.
• Safely move and position vehicles on dealer lots for inspection.
• Accurately verify VINs, mileage, and options and enter data into the system.
• Assess exterior and interior conditions, tires, frame, glass, and mechanical components.
• Perform basic mechanical checks across powertrain, drivetrain, and electrical components.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer clients and promote inspection services.
