Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Midstream Project Engineer - Natural Gas Facilities in St. Louis, MO. You will join our Energy and Utilities group to lead project execution and drive design from conception through construction.

Join a growing team and apply your leadership, communication, and technical skills to deliver safe, reliable facilities while coordinating with clients and internal disciplines. This role supports a Hybrid Work Program with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in facility design in the natural gas industry.
• Knowledge of CFR 49 part 192.
• Experience coordinating with clients and overseeing quality standards.
• Willingness to travel and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on natural gas facility projects (e.g., compressor stations, metering/regulation stations).
• Develop projects by analyzing existing facilities for proposed improvements to performance, safety, and reliability.
• Prepare detailed technical documents, engineering calculations, P&IDs, and reports.
• Coordinate with drafters/designers to develop engineering drawings.
• Support construction activities at field locations to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Manage projects from conception to completion, including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, design coordination, and closeout.
