Job summary

Foot Locker, Inc. in Gardena, CA is seeking a Merchandise Planner to develop and maintain strategic plans by brand or category to drive sales. You will partner with Buyers, provide meaningful analysis, and forecast to maximize opportunities while minimizing risks.

This hybrid role requires 5+ years in retail planning, strong math and BI skills, and the ability to lead meetings and mentor teammates. Base salary ranges from $90,000 to $125,000 with benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years retail planning experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; 4-year college degree preferred.
• Strong computer skills; particularly Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate pre-season sales, stock, and margin plans by brand or category.
• Manage area OTB to maintain stock levels and guide receipt flow.
• Re-forecast (sales, margin, and turn) OTB weekly and participate in team actions.
• Leverage BI tools for reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
• Present category performance and go-forward strategies to management.
