Job summary

A leading cancer care provider in Johnstown, PA seeks a Medical Physicist to join its Radiation Oncology Department. You will work under a world-renowned leader and be responsible for clinical medical physics services. Candidates should hold an M.S. or Ph.D. in Physics or Medical Physics with preferred certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics. Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Physics or Medical Physics required.
• Certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics preferred, but not mandatory.
• Must meet expert criteria defined by Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular quality assurance testing of radiotherapy equipment.
• Calibrate radiation therapy equipment according to dosimetric standards.
• Provide routine clinical support as part of the medical physics team.
