The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of medical coding experience, CPC/COC/CCS certification, and the ability to work in a hybrid office setting at least three days weekly. Collaboration with CMS sources is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of medical coding experience in healthcare.
• Experience assigning/auditing HCPCS Level II codes (A-, C-, E-codes).
• Active coding certification (CPC/COC/CCS).
• Ability to research devices, categories, and HCPCS codes for library development.
• Familiarity with CMS LCDs/NCDs and data quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Research HCPCS codes for medical device content using multiple sources.
• Update and maintain HCPCS library and mappings.
• Ensure accuracy of codes via data audits and reviews.
• Provide training to staff on coding practices.
• Apply CMS updates to data promptly using maintenance tools.
