Job summary

Avenue 360 is a FQHC delivering comprehensive health and social support across Greater Houston. We are seeking a Hybrid Certified Biller or Coding Specialist to ensure accurate billing for commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, self-pay, and grant-funded programs while maintaining coding accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on claim submission, coding validation, audits, denial management, provider education, and documentation improvement as part of revenue cycle leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of medical billing and/or coding experience.
• Experience interpreting medical documentation and assigning ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Knowledge of commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Submit and manage billing for multiple payer types.
• Review claims for coding accuracy and payer-specific requirements.
• Resolve billing edits, rejections, denials, and payment variances.
• Perform coding and billing audits to ensure documentation accuracy.
