Blacksheep Engineering LLC in Bozeman, MT is seeking a Mechanical & Plumbing Design Engineer to join our Engineering department. You will design, develop, and document mechanical and plumbing systems for residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects, coordinating with architects and consultants to ensure seamless integration with the building concept.

A strong grasp of HVAC and plumbing design, energy modeling, and knowledge of building codes is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for building construction.
• Design process knowledge: planning, design modeling, specification, project mgmt, and construction support.
• Strong understanding of building codes and standards (ASHRAE, IBC).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Energy modeling and sustainable design practices and software: Carrier HAP and LoopCAD.

Responsabilités

• Design, engineer and draft mechanical and plumbing systems for diverse projects.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants and internal teams to integrate designs.
• Perform load calculations and energy modeling.
• Collaborate to integrate systems with architectural and other building systems.
