Otis Bloomfield is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to support field repair, installation, and maintenance by creating tools, parts, and technical documents. You will work with field offices, Supply Management, and external suppliers to gather information and set up tests while developing CAD, data collection and technical writing skills.

This paid internship runs 40 hours weekly in summer and 10–25 hours weekly during the fall and spring.

Qualificações

• Pursuing an undergraduate engineering degree and strong interest in design/development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Create tools, parts, and technical documents for field repair, installation, and maintenance.
• Communicate with field offices, Supply Management, and external suppliers to gather information and set up tests.
• Document, analyze data, and support process improvements through technical writing.
• Assist with product development cycle including design, testing, material and parts selection.
• Conduct jobsite testing and surveying; support data collection.
