Job summary

Honeywell INC. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer II to design and develop electro-mechanical solutions, applying CAD tools to create advanced mechanical systems.

You will report to the Sr Engineering Manager and work from Boyne City, MI or Freeport, IL on a hybrid schedule, contributing to achieving product performance and reliability while supporting Honeywell's innovation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (STEM) from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of mechanical design and development experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or PTC Creo, plus analysis/simulation tools.
• Experience with materials selection, manufacturing processes, and mechanical testing.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design and development of innovative electro-mechanical solutions that meet high standards of quality and reliability. You will apply your expertise in mechanical design principles and CAD tools to support the creation of advanced mechanical systems and components.

You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Boyne City, MI or Freeport, IL location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or PTC Creo, and experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools to ensure design integrity and performance
• Experience with materials selection, manufacturing processes, and mechanical testing

The annual base salary range for this position is $83,200.00 - $104,100.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
