Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to plan and develop the test requirements, diagnostics, automation, equipment and schedules required to support prototype builds and deliver a production-grade test process.

In this role you will specify tests to be performed, provide test areas with parameters for sample testing, compile data, and define required changes to testing equipment, diagnostics, procedures, and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and leading hardware test plans for complex networking products.
• Familiarity with test automation and manufacturing processes in networking hardware environments.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering solutions to test and evaluate systems, equipment, and devices based on established engineering principles and requirements.
• Develop and implement test plans, schedules, and requirements for new and existing designs.
• Lead outsourced and in-house testing resources building and operating test tooling, fixtures, scripts, automation, and apparatuses.
• Collaborate with management and partners regarding testing status, project progress, and issue resolution.
• Lead a project team of test engineers and partners to develop reliable, cost-effective test solutions for complex products.
