Job summary

The George Washington University is seeking a full-time Manager, Clinical Trials within the GW Cancer Center. The role reports to the Faculty Head of the Clinical Trials Office and oversees the CTO, PRMS, and related operations to ensure compliant, high-quality oncology research across multiple sites in the Washington, DC area.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, protocol evaluation, budget coordination, and collaboration with sponsors, investigators, and external partners.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a related discipline plus 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.
• Experience in clinical research and business administration preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations governing clinical research is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• RN or MS/ MPH preferred, with oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for the GW Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office (CTO) and oversee staff and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, regulatory requirements, and institutional guidelines.
• Coordinate with investigators, sponsors, and vendors to advance oncology clinical trials.
• Develop and implement SOPs, QA processes, and data-reporting systems.
• Promote a patient-centered approach and high-quality, ethical research practices.
