Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is looking for an experienced midlevel associate to join their Corporate M&A team in Portland, OR. The successful candidate will have three to five years of Corporate M&A experience, ideally with private equity transactions.

This role entails drafting and negotiating merger agreements, managing M&A transactions, and advising clients on corporate matters. A Juris Doctor degree and bar admission are required, alongside strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of Corporate M&A experience.
• Private equity transaction experience preferred.
• Strong academic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate merger agreements, stock purchase agreements, and related documents.
• Manage and close M&A and related transactions.
• Conduct legal due diligence.
• Advise clients on general corporate and business matters.
• Work with partnership agreements, joint ventures, and LLC operating agreements.
• Handle representation and warranty insurance underwriting issues.
