Job summary

Under direction, you will assist physicians and nurses with patient care, EMR chart management and patient flow, while maintaining high professional standards and compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Approximately 2+ years of related clinical experience; new grads may be considered.
• NYS Registered LPN License and current LPN registration.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Infection Control Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient flow, prep for exams and notifies physician when ready.
• Maintains exam rooms, sterilizes instruments, stocks supplies and disposes waste.
• Records medical information in EMR as appropriate.
• Answers phones, triages calls, and supports administrative tasks.
• Provides in-office patient care including vitals, venipuncture, vaccines and education.
