Job summary

Radiant Road & Rail is seeking a Customer Support Specialist in a full-time hybrid role, based in Woodridge, IL and Overland Park, KS. You will manage relationships with Radiant’s network stations and clients, monitor shipments, and collaborate across teams to deliver exceptional service while driving continuous improvement.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in a customer-facing position in logistics or transportation, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with TMS tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in logistics or transportation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned stations and customers within Radiant’s network.
• Monitor shipments from initiation to completion and ensure accurate billing and details.
• Address and resolve shipment issues promptly, keeping stakeholders informed.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and capacity/product teams to ensure smooth account execution.
• Navigate complex customer interactions with diplomacy and advocate for customer needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and implement best practices.
• Use internal tools to track and report shipment status, pricing, and issues.
• Partner with Radiant stations to transition customer accounts and set expectations.
