Job summary

Sloan Valve Company is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for the Andover, MA facility. This role supports the Materials Manager with receiving, shipping, and inventory maintenance, including SAP transactions and cycle counts.

Role requires accurate data handling, familiarity with SAP, and experience in shipping/receiving. The position is on-site at our Andover, MA location with a hybrid-friendly benefits package emphasizing work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience in Shipping/Receiving or Warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with transportation systems to ensure prompt shipment pickups and deliveries.
• Transact parts to stockroom location in SAP and move to stocking location after inspection approval.
• Ship finished goods and items, including international shipments, with Bills Of Lading and SAP transactions.
• Process SAP transactions daily to support production, receiving, and shipping.
• Run SAP audit reports to identify inbound/outbound shipment errors.
• Backflush finished goods in SAP and release transfer orders to ship.
• Maintain FIFO inventory management.
• Conduct cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist Materials Manager in filing damage claims with carriers when needed.
• Create shipping labels and maintain records (bills of lading, packing lists).
• Verify and process incoming purchase orders; confirm skid/box counts for LTL shipments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
