The Lending | Sector Based & Specialized Lending | Loan Administration, Associate role at ING Americas in NYC sits in the Deal Implementation Team. Qualifications

• 2+ years of middle office experience within banking or financial services preferred.
• Internship or work experience in banking, credit or financial services preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support closing, booking and post-closing implementation of lending transactions.
• Maintain the lending pipeline and deal trackers, including statuses and dates.
• Coordinate with lending structurers, sector bankers, Risk, Legal, Loan Closing and Agency.
• Obtain and organize closing materials and final closing sets.
• Track closing conditions, due diligence items, waivers and actions.
• Prepare closing and agency packages and review booking forms.
• Support accurate booking and activation of lending transactions in internal systems.
• Complete post-closing activities and update transaction records.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls.
