Job summary

Legal Ease LLC is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with 3+ years of experience to join our downtown San Diego team. This hybrid role supports attorneys through all phases of litigation, including discovery, document management, deposition coordination, and trial prep.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of court filing procedures. A Paralegal Certificate (ABA-approved) is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in paralegal litigation required.
• Proficient in Lexis, Westlaw and e-filing procedures.
• ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate required; BA preferred.
• Experience with court rules and discovery management urged.

Responsibilities

• Draft, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery and subpoenas.
• Manage case files, court filings, service of process, and calendars.
• Coordinate discovery, document review, production and tracking.
• Prepare deposition notices and coordinate depositions.
• Conduct legal research using Lexis, Westlaw, and other platforms.
• Maintain databases, discovery logs, and document management systems.
• Assist with trial prep: binders, exhibits, witness lists, and courtroom support.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court staff and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with court rules and internal deadlines.
