Job summary

Uvalle Law Firm, PLLC is seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal to support personal injury cases through pre-trial to trial. You will draft pleadings, manage deadlines, coordinate with clients, courts, and attorneys, and prepare case files for hearings.

This full-time hybrid role is based in Dallas, TX, with in-office and remote work after 90 days. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with at least five years in Personal Injury practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Personal Injury Law.
• Strong foundation in Personal Injury Litigation support, with experience in preparing cases for trial.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management with the ability to handle a high volume of work and work under pressure.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Accurately draft Petitions, Answers, Discovery, Motions, Demands, and other legal documents as needed.
• Prepare cases for the litigation process, such as scheduling deadlines, hearing, and trial dates.
• Schedule calendars for hearing, depositions, and mediations.
• File appropriate documents with courts and serve opposing parties.
• Assist Litigation Attorney with case management and trial as needed.
• Continually communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, experts, and mediators.
• Sort, scan, rename, save and distribute litigation mail and faxes
• Audit cases for all expenses (medical bills, case expenses, LOP providers, subro liens)
• Accurately maintain case management data in Salesforce (case management database)
• Prepare trial documents and assist with trial preparation.
