Job summary

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP is seeking a Litigation Docket Clerk to support our litigation practice firmwide, serving as an integral part of our team. The position resides in Century City, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, San Francisco, or Palo Alto with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule.

Flexibility to work overtime is required. Key responsibilities include maintaining the firm’s docket system for litigation lawyers across courts, obtaining filing information, identifying deadlines, and

Qualifications

• At least one year of relevant litigation calendaring/docketing experience.
• Understanding of court docketing and calendaring procedures for federal, state, and county levels.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the firm’s docket system for litigation lawyers in multiple courts and jurisdictions.
• Obtains filing information from court clerks and online dockets.
• Identifies pertinent deadlines and prepares master calendar of due dates for distribution to lawyers and staff.
• Research questions regarding deadlines and local rules.
• Responds to requests about calendared events, pleadings, and compliance dates.
