Job summary

Imerys, based at our North American Headquarters in Roswell, GA, seeks a Litigation and Corporate Counsel to provide strategic legal advice to US and Canadian units. This hybrid role manages litigation matters, oversees compliance, and supports procurement functions across the portfolio.

The ideal candidate holds a J.D. and GA bar admission (or is eligible), with 3+ years of complex litigation experience and a business-law mindset to minimize risk while enabling sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Georgia bar license or eligible.
• Minimum 3 years of complex litigation experience.
• Experience with national/regional law firms is valued.
• Interest in business contracts and negotiation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage US/Canada litigation matters (excluding real estate).
• Attend depositions, hearings, mediations, trials as needed.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and set strategic direction for cases.
• Prepare witnesses for deposition or trial testimony.
• Budget litigation matters and monitor spend; report deviations.
• Provide guidance on Product Stewardship, Health & Safety compliance.
• Support procurement strategy across categories, including Logistics & Transport.
• Assist HR on employment policy matters and employment litigation as needed.
